Yatu Chemical Co., Ltd. was established.

Independently developed and produced core resins for automotive coatings.

Collaborated with South China University of Technology to develop waterborne automotive paints; obtained an invention patent for waterborne coatings in 2007.

It was awarded the title of “Guangdong Famous Brand Product” and was recognized as a “National High-Tech Enterprise.”

Successfully developed the first-generation waterborne coating and began commercialization.

Received original equipment manufacturer (OEM) approvals from Geely, Jiangling Ford, GAC Trumpchi, and others.

A globally advanced automated waterborne coating production base was put into operation and successfully applied to the GAC Trumpchi production line, ushering in the 2.0 era of waterborne coatings.

Obtained OEM approvals from Dongfeng Yueda Kia and BAIC Huansu, as well as partnerships with industrial clients including new energy vehicle manufacturers.

Established the Waterborne Business Division, focusing on rail transit, buses, and new energy vehicles.

Founded Yatu Group (Hong Kong) Limited

Yatu Group established subsidiaries in Russia and India, and obtained supplier qualification from CRRC Nanjing Puzhen.

Yatu Group established its subsidiary in Mexico and was granted OEM approvals by Great Wall Haval and WEY.

Led the development of the group standard Technical Specification for Green-Design Product Assessment – Automotive Refinish Coatings and was named “Guangdong Leader in Automotive Refinish Coatings.”

Recognized as a “Guangdong Provincial Social Training Evaluation Organization for Vocational Skills” and contributed to the revision of the national standard for determining film hardness by pencil test.
